Shakespeare in the Park
Every summer The Public Theater stages a Shakespearean play for free in Central Park since the Delacourt theater opened in 1961. Known as Shakespeare in the Park, this performance took place in the summer of 1979, though the documentary Kiss Me, Petruchio that we watched was aired on television in 1981.
